Fathom’s Story
Fathom Geomatics was started by David and Christine in 2020. After nearly two decades of experience on land and sea they both desired a better work/life balance. When not surveying, they will be pursuing their other passions, including working on the farm, coaching youth sports, and playing in the outdoors with their daughters. - Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska
- Certified Hydrographer (CH) – National Society of Professional Surveyors
- Remote Pilot – Federal Aviation Administration
- Captain 100-Ton – United States Coast Guard
- Working Diver – National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Christine’s qualifications
- International Business and Logistics Degree – Maine Maritime Academy
- Advanced Hydrographic Software Experience – CARIS and QPS
- Captain 100-Ton, 200-Ton Mate – United States Coast Guard
- Dive Master – National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
